About This Workshop

In this informative and interactive workshop you will experience a multi-media presentation of supervision issues along with group discussion and evaluation applying presented material to supervisory challenges. The material will include issues of the supervisory relationship, perspectives on case consultation, gems we share with supervisees, using humor in supervision, supervisee evaluation, paperwork, termination, and more.In addition, the “Clinical Supervision: Challenges, Strategies and Solutions” program is designed to expand and enhance earlier programs by dedicating time to exploring and analyzing supervision videos and real vignettes that illustrate many supervision challenges.  In small groups you will explore possible strategies and solutions that address the challenges presented in the videos and vignettes.

 

About the Speaker

Steven M. Sultanoff, Ph.D. is a psychologist, professional trainer, university professor (Pepperdine University), and consultant in private practice. He has over 25 years experience as a clinical supervisor and for the past 12 years has offered live and online continuing education workshops in a wide array of topics including clinical supervision, humor in psychotherapy, emotional intelligence, and cognitive therapy.
